Art & Photography
These are some highlights from my A-level Art and Photography as well as some works I've done in my free time

Chemigrams
Chemigrams are made using a technique that combines the process of painting with the pieces photography without the use of a camera, enlarger or a source of light. To make my own Chemigrams, I put myself in a dark room with light sensitive paper and painted it with a brush dipped in a developer chemicals. I also used a scrunched up tissue instead of a brush in certain photos.

I wanted to create a world that felt like a dream-like sequence, using everyday objects to create a blurred and distorted environment that felt familiar but totally abstract and strange at the same time.
Edited Landscape Photography
For these photos, I still wanted to create a dream-like environment. My inspiration for these were definitely Van Gogh's starry night as well as the northern lights.
To create these photos, I went outside and photographed areas I thought were interesting and had potential to be edited in a unique way. It was important that these areas were close to where I live as I wanted that juxtaposition of familiarity and abstraction to me for my photos. After taking photos of the landscape I then created a canvas and dripped acrylic paint and moved it in multiple directions. The end result is what you see in the sky in these photos.

I then took photos of my acrylic paintings and edited them with my landscape in photoshop to create these beautiful photos of a dreamlike environment.
